BrainWaveBank - Turin Headset
Developing a unique suite of tools to objectively measure memory and other core brain functions.
Tracking of brain performance is a key tool in central nervous system research, using electroencephalogram (EEG) sensors. By placing sensors over specific areas of the brain they can observe different brain functions and monitor cognitive performance over time.
BIGsmall initially worked with BrainWaveBank and its other partners on the industrial design portion of a new at-home EEG headset taking the project from Proof of Concept to the first production units.
In 2020, Cumulus Neuroscience was formed by combining BrainWaveBank with additional new technologies to create a single, integrated platform.
With an aging population, brain disorders are a growing global challenge, but drug discovery and management of these central nervous system (CNS) diseases are hampered by late diagnosis, poor stratification, and difficulty in monitoring patients.
